Dear beloved readers, Paul has died and risen again. Not literally lar of course. Well, i'm kinda like in my final laps of my academic stuffs, phew... Been thru alot of homework/projects/assignments/e-assignments (hmmm shouldnt be "/", is "and"), but i'm able to see the light at the end of the tunnel, finishing the cream of the crop. Hahas, at least i'm giving examples ok. Lol. Well, to the pictures!!! lalala...
This 1st picture depicts the symbolic relationship between my handphone camera and my computer, thought the constant support between the both party. Sorry i'm just crapping to feel, er, fill up the spaces. So that commentators would think that a long entry and sophisticated words would correspond to a street-wise blogger. Whoo hooo. Oh yeah, went to my classmate, Daniel, Chinese Orchestra performance 18th Jan 2008, Friday. Was pretty hot. Er i mean the atmosphere there, had some glitch and technical errors, but all in all was an awesome performance. By the way, Mrs Goh Chok Tong was there too! She turned out not what i expected, i shall not comment further, lol. Haha.
Hmmm, then the next day (Sat) night. Went to pizza hut at Marina Square. I arrived late though, then got to find the place myself. Went to search for the place like a frantic young mad man in a shopping mall, hey seriously, it's like my 2nd time in Marine Square only lor! Took around 20min before i discovered the pizza hut in the middle of shopping stuffs beside the kBox. Lol. Yar, then kana the last dish, which is that above. Bones bon appetite.
Oh yeah, did i mentioned the fabulous chocolate cum coffee cake we had? lol. It was Ping Ding's birthday afterall. Lol, too bad not alot of pics though. Anyways, the follow pic is the delicious concoction of horror(s). Ingredients (trying to remember all though): Pasta sauce, mayonaise, cheese, pepper, remains of the cake i mentioned, and the dried chilli spice. Hmmm, sounds just right for trouble. Oh yeah, you've guessed it. We played "secret number". Lucky me, i got twice out of the three times we played. So i was honoured to taste it the most. Bleah!
After our sumptuous, dinner. We set off for Esplanade, but being gals as all (not me arh, i meant them) they couldnt resist in taking photo. So i being a guy, got to kay poh abit and took them taking photo. Hehe. How bo liao of me sia. I just simply love myself. Hiks hiks.
Ok, i don't know why we were standing here at this point of time, blocking the one of the road inside Marina Square. Oh yeah, "something" happened to nic-kuku's pants. Haha. That one is kinda confidential, i shall leave it as that ba. Moving on...
Rooftop of Esplanade. The nice senary there, or not...
Aiyo, on the rooftop yeah. But cant see much, objects too dark with bright background. A bad photo, shame on me.
Oooo, something else to be proud of (for once). Haha. Okie, for you non-science peeps out there. This is a T4 lysozyme model, bought under $8 only wor. Looks nice and satisfied. =) Took me and my partner, Maya, like 2 hours to do this from scratch. Pretty happy wor, but it ended up in the dustbin in the end -.-" haha. Good things don't last.
Oh yeah today's event!!! Our IIM poster exhibition. This is me having one of those artistic yet lousy shots. Haha, neither here nor there. We (me, Joshua, JJ) were placed at panel no.2. Cool, our 1 month's work being paid off in poster defence, yeah it's called defence. Haha. Eeee i spot a zit!!! Make-up team!!!!
Our sweat and blood poster. Nah, not blood, but like at least 20 hours of photo-shop and printing to get this A1 sized poster out. Yeah! Virus complement evasion strategy.
This was like the last hour senerio, all kinda slacking. Anyways, it's like the first time i've seen SCL students wearing so formal. Oh yeah, it's the 1st time in SCL, may i repeat that FIRST time in SCL(LS), but media didnt appreciate, only LianHe newspaper came. Haha.
Yeah, mines like the 2nd from the right as you can see. Someone browsing, lol, is javior lar -.-" Anyways, still someone right. Lol, the group on the left looks like praying though. Haha. Good luck for all of our IIM poster marks!!!
Finally the last but the least picture. Our last assessor, Mr Anand K, one of the toughest person i ever knew. He would throw the hardest questions in front of your face, fortunately for my group, i kinda rescued Josh from a wrong answer, i guess he was pretty nervous ba. Well AK being so intimidating and all. Well, the answer was like something we learn before in lecture, i cant believe he almost screw that part up. Something about is regulating proteins on the cell surface similiar to inhibitory proteins for the virus envelope, he got that right, but he said that it was to break down C3 proteins, which is sooooo wrong. It was meant to be C3 convertase. Haha, overall it was like 3 out of 4 questions he posted that we got it correct as a team. Most credit goes to JJ though. He's the brain within our group, feel so confident with him around. Lol.
Well, here's my thoughts for the blog site. Hope to get more pics soon... haha
Signing out
