the dusk of book out

Dear blog

Haven't been able to connect to internet properly for the whole day till now. I think it's because i placed it on standby mode for convenience sake. Ha ha, well all's well? Hmmm i don't know yet =X

Let's see here, our dinner was partially screwed (or so i thought) until we were the first to get the food. You see, we were suppose to take the leftovers catered from another company, but then we got there pretty early and we manage to take the food before them :) Hee hee. I'd say that Friday dinner are pretty good, a farewell meal perhaps?

RT has been slack so far. I bathed 30mins ago and was facebook-ing at bunk ever since~ The rest are leisurely spending their time playing some games or sports. Slack. RT = Slack? And the reason for this RT was that we brought food over. So the punishment is basically time off and we must be retained till 8am the next morning? LOL kinda dumb to me. I rather do 100 push ups.

Sigh, it's difficult.

Taken for grunted

Dear blog

Things in life are often taken for granted when you don't feel the pain in losing them.

Well that's it for philosophical thoughts. Back to real life, NS life!!!
Our platoon got the best performance as a whole. 55% passes compared to the overall company of 44%. Meaning that we hit above the average bar. I did contribute to it okays?
Hmm maybe i'll jot down some of my results here on my blog so i can keep track of my progressiveness =)

Woooo~ Saturday. I wonder what's gonna happen. Oh yeah i'm booking out on that day due to RT~ But then i'm sure the rest of the day would be an awesome one! Hopefully things would incur in my favour >.< Still the world is not controlled by me =/

Thankfully the new recruits are pretty nice people to talk to and i helped them a lil to get themselves adjusted in terms of their identification numbers etc.

Brrr my legs are freezing under the fans :S
Kenneth asked me what do we normally wear, i told him it's either half-naked or underwear (seriously). He giggled and remembered the time when he was in army as well. Ha ha. Life in army is not easy, and they say our honeymoon period is going to end in a day's time.

After bloons

Dear blog

Section mates are all starting to wile their time away with games. Not to say a bad thing :P

New recruits are coming to our company to see how well our company can manage with maximum capacity of recruits. I think our commanders would be able to do well with the numbers.

Anyways i got RT (remedial training) this week. Just got informed only =.= The rest would book out at 1630 on friday while i'll be at tekong till Saturday afternoon. Argh i hate the feeling of staying back. And it's over a packet of cashew nuts? Sigh... Got detained over simple stuff is so ridiculous =/ Nooooooo~ i still need my time out ya knows :(

Alright IFC is pretty heavy and i have to cramp many many things in my not so big mind ~.~

SOU

Dear blog

Everybody here now is hot about OneManga closing down. Heard it's cause of some higher-ups don't like the idea of people using their manga and distributing it o.O? What's the big deal and how can you deal with such piracy? They'll be bound to be other sites and other sources. Oh what the hell~

Hmmm guess i'll return the UMPC only till after BMT phase? Not sure yet. But if that's the case i'll have much time to blog ^^ Then i would be able to blog out my thoughts and feelings here. Maybe quite openly :P

To my dearest friend. Don't be sad or burdened. Just smile and it'll be over =) Be happy that it happened, learn from it and move on! There are friends who are always loyal to you, and i am one of them :)

Oh this post... I learnt something new today. We all need to have SOU, Sense Of Urgency, in army life in our daily life. Yup =)

slacks

Dear blog

I've got a feeling that today would be the slackest day any recruit can ask in his entire BMT (+PTP) life. Basically it has been resting and more resting ever since after our morning IPPT. So okay, waking up at 0445 is no joke (i used to be awake at this timing and will have my rest just before dusk).

Lunch was pretty good as i could finish up the entire plate. Something rare for me :P Aiya need to replenish energy lost from IPPT also mah, and need eat more to strengthen immune system since we run just now in the rain. Lalalala~ We're singing in the rain...

Oh back to IFC, which stands for Individual Field Craft. So many things to learn and memorise, yeah we're the thinking soldier generation 3G. Quiz of 22 question just blew me off =.= I need to put on my student cap again o.O

L is for the way you Look at me...

Sianz, back to studies. NS life is not as difficult as you think. It's much harder. In a way where we use our brains and our body.

IPPT 28.7

Dear blog

As usual, i'm blogging from the most inward table of my bunk in between amy and CK's bed. Today i just finished the third one which commence the end of PTP, okay lah, maybe the last week of PTP :) These 8 weeks have been a true joy and enjoyable training session for all of us. And i believe each and everyone of us has improved physically, mentally as well as working together as a team now (at least better than before) *remembers 2LT Harris heart to heart talk with Platoon 1*

Oh man, i'm hungry. Yeah energy usage for IPPT is rather high but i was prepared with carbo loading the day before and had an energy filling breakfast. By the way there are four results u can get from IPPT, either a Pass, Silver, Gold or simply fail.

Lunch time is at hand. I'll be signing off for now. Will be blogging later after lunch!!! There's still IFC stuff to learn :S Oh bother, at least there's laptop to use right? Don't complain!!!

Nice to see smses from people you love. Who doesn't?

Life of an NSman?

Dear blog

Yeah i'm blogging from Tekong. Wow, they just issued us our UMPC (an abbreviation for Ultra Mobile Personal Computer), basically a small laptop that is their property. Well, they have its ups and downs, but for us mainly ups...
We can now surf online, not whenever we want and not as often, but what more can you ask for when it's supposedly to be torture? weeee~ And of course we need to maintain it, the charging port area and clean every last inch of the laptop holding...

Sigh... Everything is going up and down. Yeah i can be feeling happy a day and be upset the same evening. Furthermore my best friend is facing problems, i wonder how could i help him?

Planning for something big, something different, something original!!! Would you appreciate it? Would someone else? Hee hee, just random thoughts. I think if i have free time in NS, why not blog out? Much more convenient and faster too than handwritten~

Alrights need to get busy lurh. Chaoz~
