stucked

Dear blog

Yo mama's so fat, when she jumped for joy... SHE GOT STUCKED!!!
Hahaha =D

Ice-breaker line :P LMAO. Just came back from some medical check for command school, fortunately i'm fit for it :) Meaning that i stand a chance to enter command school (OCS/SISPEC). Then again, do i want to get into command school, really? On the other hand, other people has sign on for SAF as their career and i want to, as a MDES doing medical. Hmmm but they didn't contact me leh >.< Argh was i like left out? Well i went to enquire them thru email. Hopefully able to sign the contract~

Tomorrow would be our last route march... 16km!!! The so-called hardest or last hurdle to overcome before seeing the lights of POP. I'm personally excited that BMT is finally gonna end, at the same time afraid of what the future would hold. Ha ha, standard ba.

Policeman har? I guess i can always consider that :) Got the impression that they're quite slack in some ways. Who doesn't want to enjoy the most out of life? Gotto love it man :)
But too bad those days aren't mine yet.

I want to be rich!!!

Dear blog

Got news that we would be returning our UMPC (if you haven't known, it's our personal mini-laptop issued to us by SAF) this coming Thurs. That's like 48 more hours with internet usage! Rawrz, what would i do without you webby =X

So much for that... It has already been the third SOC attempt, and i still haven't passed it or near the passing timing (or successfully completed the stations). 1st was 22min, 2nd 14min, and the latest was 9min. Okay lurh, at least i'm improving~ Now i'm left with Low Rope to overcome!!! Had a lil accident with the ramp station as well, fell and landed my rifle mussel on my toe >.< ouch.

I wonder what will be our punishment this week for the SOL? Oh yeah it's 17 days more to POP!!! Yeah, the day that we were looking forward to since 3rd June :) Just tahan only right? We're left with 16km route march... har games day wasn't that good, my company didn't do well lo :x

Hmmm yesterday night was cool. Our section, being the best section in the whole company, had its rewards by going to sbl-it's a place where sergeants go to for some food. It's a cafeteria, a real cafeteria in tekong :) I had fish and chips while the others had like chicken chop with rice, hor fun etc etc... Overall rating 3.5/5. Food quality and serving timing could have been better. But who's to complain in tekong xD

Time to go speed training ler. Then hopefully nothing strainous afterwards... sheesh these few weeks have been tiring in tekong =(

Live life with no regrets~

Dear blog

I don't even know where to begin with. Everything happened too fast and too much! Argh~

Let me try this slowly then...
Good points :)
  • All my high key events are over (no more outfield!!!)
  • POP is at Marina Bay Floating platform (pioneer batch)
  • POP is only about 29 days away
  • Expressed interest in signing on as MDES in Navy or Infantry

Bad points :(

  • Forgot to bring "My Defining Moment" essay, and as a result got punished: Guard duty later on and late book out this week
  • Serving my charges for misfiring during field camp next week onwards, meaning that i do not enjoy the 3 days of weekend off
  • IPPT results are dependent on the latest results, not the best you got so far (but so far i've been only improving)
  • Prep talk by PC, LT Yi Ting and OC was quite demoralising for all of us as a platoon, not only me

Aiya so many things to worry about, like why do i worry about punishments? Is it because they are tough? No i believe that i can tahan in tekong for 2 weeks. Just that the reasons behind these punishments are not worthy enough for my logical processing to accept it. Rawrz. Then suddenly everybody seem to be in their own worlds and quite busy with their stuff.

Dinner would come early to be because of guard duty. Seems like i'm not doing prowling tonight. Hopefully it'll be a more slack one, body seems to be aching all over =.=

So i'll book out this week like saturday evening, then booking back in on sunday evening. All the way till the next following week, i'll be at tekong. Ha ha. And i only have 4 more book-outs? Hopefully this weekend, it'll be something worthwhile. *thinks*

Perspective
Just yesterday, i overheard my section mate talking to his friend. He said that the sergeant ranks are there for a reason- whenever we say "yes sergeant" or "yes sir", we're paying respects to the ranks not the person. And whenever they punish us, it's because of their rank, not because of their person as a whole. So with this mindset, i've learnt that it's easier to overlook certain "cruel" actions done by some commanders. Grrr although still irritated but at least that's a source of peace.

Ahhhh 12 hours here i come~
